Getting your serum steps right can make a huge difference to your skin. Many people often overdo this step by layering too many products or using the wrong formulation at the wrong time. There are many great products on the market so you really should only need one multitasking serum for the morning and one for the evening.
Don't underestimate the power of your cleanser. Reach for a quality cleanser morning and night, to remove all debris from your skin, allowing subsequent skincare to be the most effective.
A very common cause of skin issues, you should avoid abrasive ingredients and instead look for fruit acid-based products. Once a week is enough for a deep exfoliation, aside from that, incorporating an evening cleanser with a gentle exfoliator like Salicylic or Lactic acid will help remove skin debris from the day.
The more you enjoy your skincare regime and treat it like a mini facial, the more likely you are to keep going with it consistently. Think of it as a self-care step you can look forward to.
